They performed a really good service of my 2011 Suzuki Swift and produced a comprehensive report which was really helpful. They did the classic upsell of wanting to replace the air filters, break fluid, wipers etc however, their customer service was great and happily broke down the cost of each change which was comparable to market rate. On top of that, their communication was excellent and they got everything done within the day. Even when i noticed some break squeaking after the service, they sorted me out free of charge. Overall great experience, I will definitely be getting my car serviced here again.

My Jeep Wrangler came in with a failed transmission and CV shaft. Stu sourced parts and had it installed in a reasonable time. When the refurbished CV caused shuddering, they took it in the next day, replaced the part and realigned the tyres which fixed the problem entirely. They did not charge me for labour on the second fix. Overall, they're a trustworthy team and didn't cut corners.

We’ve been coming to Le Mans Motor for years now. From our Range Rover to now our Defender, we’ve always trusted them with our cars.The turnaround time is amazing almost every time we get the car back the same day, which makes such a difference to our schedule.I believe the owner was there today super friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. To top it off, they even gave us a bottle of white wine as a Valentine’s Day gift, which was such a lovely surprise.Highly recommend if you’re looking for reliable service and great people. Bit of a different review this time. Recently bought a van for the business which required a timing belt and also had a diesel leak the team at LeMans here was awesome. Emily had fast and effective communication which meant the van was back to us the next day. They also fitted my booking in before anyone else which meant I was on the road and didn’t lose any time or money with the business.. 100% will be using these guys again for all future vehicles

I've been servicing my RCZ at Le Mans Newstead for a few years now. Recently the car went in for the 100k service and Le Mans fixed an oil leak during the service. That actually cost a considerably amount due to the difficulty of the job. After picking up the car I found that I now had a severe oil leak. The car was far worse than when I dropped it in. I wasn't happy. I attempted to contact them but kept getting their stupid AI robot with which I left several messages. No response. I decided to book a service since I couldn't contact them any other way to discuss the issue. I was very frustrated.That's where things changed. They absolutely took ownership of the problem and apologised for the AI robot issues. They prioritised the repair - which turned out to be a faulty part from Peugeot - and kept me informed all the way. There was no charge and when I picked up the car they had gone the extra mile to wash it, fix the headlight frosting etc. They did what any decent company should do and I have no issue taking my car to them in future. They were trying hard to ensure I was happy. Good on them.(I suggest they ditch the AI robot. Even if the calls had been returned this is not a good experience for customers).Thanks Guys.As Arnie would say - "I'll be back"David.

We recently had sudden engine overheat in our VW as we were leaving Brisbane headed for home. We eventually had it towed to LeMans Newstead after doing some research.David at the front desk, and our mechanic Sam, were super helpful upon arrival. As we had to leave town, they suggested they would investigate. Communication was good with calls and texts as we progressed. They were very keen not to just throw parts at it.Not all problems can have a definitive answer, but I had been doing some research as well, and together we agreed on a way forward. They always sought my approval before taking the next step. The parts replaced are difficult to get to and a lot of things had to be removed to get there. As a result it wasn't an easy or cheap fix.Sam took great care doing the job and once he found out our decision was the correct one, he sent some pics and called to tell us the news.I picked up our car this morning and drove the 3 hours home. I was very confident that the work was carried out by a professional who took great care of my VW.Thank you Sam and David!

We’re a 5 vehicle family and had been going to Le Mans for 10 years prior to Chad leaving. The last 2 services on a few of our vehicles were not only more expensive than previous but also left the vehicles with serious issues. We finally found Chad again at his new location after searching far and wide. Absolute legends. My car sprung a massive coolant leak on a weekday night, and I had it towed to LeMans and called in the next morning. Despite being booked solid for two weeks, the team squeezed me in that day, assessed the car, and even stayed back late to smash out the work and finish it same day.Can't speak highly enough of the entire team - communication is always on point, and they're so transparent and clear. Guys helped me out with a serious electronic suspension problem on my Alfa Giulia. Great quick diagnosis- just the standard woes of a long time to get parts for newer Alfas which is not their fault. Having Le Mans - West End look after my 2015 A1 Audi is terrific. Easy booking on line or by phone, excellant communication by Emily throughout process, orderly workshop and clear what they are doing, pricing explained before they do the work and detailed invoices supplied. I'm not knowledgeble with cars so appreciate time spent to explain what is required and what isn't, what should be budgeted for next time. Less expensive than Audi servicing and close to home and transport to and from as well! When recently had a very damaged tyre, fitted me in and fixed without issues. Damage to a sensor also done in same manner.

Fantastic first experience. VW had electrical problems over the holiday period, everyone was closed. We booked in online and dropped the car off overnight with their key drop off.They found the problem that day, and were very communicative. They kept the car overnight to ensure they could test it 2 more times before we were to pick it up, to ensure the problem was resolved. We will be taking our VW here for our services in future as better experience than the dealership and fairly priced. Thank you.

Great service. I took my car in today due to an electrical fault. They did a diagnostic test on the car and stated that it would be cheaper for me to go back to the dealership and that they couldn't grantee that what they think the problem is will be fixed by their solution. They went on to not charge me for their time as they were not able to fix the problem. Would recommend the guys at newstead.

Unfortunately the last few times I have used this mechanic I have had significant issues with pricing. For example, they kept recommending I change the timing belt despite the fact they had already changed it but didn’t check their own records. This happened three times in a row. Then there were issues with quotes not matching the invoice without explanation. I raised these issues with management and it was clear there were issues with accountability and a very casual approach to pricing.

I was really impressed with the level of service I received yesterday at the West End garage. They were recommended to me anyway, but at this time of year and also how visibly busy they were, it felt like we got top priority regardless. A really helpful manager on the front desk, said to just bring in our car and we will get it done. Very professional and courteous staff on the tools, made us feel we weren't in the way (which we were really) and just seamlessly got to it.I don't write reviews unless it is exceptional service or value. This garage delivers both. Rare qualities these days.

Very happy with the standard of service provided, and chose Le Mans Motors from a colleague's recommendation. My 2019 Hyundai i30 N Line was sounding rough on start up and was working harder to move up gears.The Le Mans team advised an engine flush and to switch from the standard 20W50 oil to a premium Penrite 10W40 blend within Hyundai's guidelines. They also took the time to explain the technical reasonings for this in plain terms.The engine now starts smoother, sounds quieter at idle, and shoots through gears no worries.

Initially, I attempted to book my vehicle in with the West End branch due to its strong reviews for honesty, communication, and reasonable pricing. However, I was unfortunately referred to the Woolloongabba branch as they specialise in my vehicle’s make. It took two full days for my vehicle to be inspected before any work commenced. A full service was carried out in addition to the requested repair without my consultation, despite the vehicle having been serviced only six weeks earlier.I made several attempts to obtain updates over the week on the progress of the repair due to needing my vehicle for work purposes, however I did not receive a return call. When I did manage to get through to the branch directly, a complimentary vehicle was not available or explored by the rep even after explaining my situation.The cost of the service and repair was very expensive given the nature of the repair and after consulting with other mechanics on the work carried out. I was without my vehicle for just over a full week and had to follow up several times after the repair to obtain a detailed, itemised invoice and information regarding future maintenance recommendations. Several phone calls and text messages were left with the rep with no response. Very poor communication and overall experience with this branch.

I booked a general service and roadworthy certificate in person, left my details, and scheduled a drop-off a few days later.However, when I arrived, the same staff who assisted me previously had no record of the booking. I had to provide all my information again, felt disorganised and frustrating.They also forgot to complete the safety certificate when I was picking up the car. I waited until the end of the day, I was then told I’d have to come back the next day.On top of that, I was charged more than the original quote for the service and billed that I don’t recall approving. They claimed it was discussed over the phone, but I strongly recommend sticking to written communication to avoid them overcharging or proceeding without proper consent.To make matters worse, when I picked up the car, I found muddy footprints on the carpet and on the inside of the door. The staff who forgot my booking had opened the door with his foot. This shows a real lack of care.I paid the full amount and walked away, but this place overcharges for the quality of service provided. I won’t be returning.

I booked my car in for repairs that were identified during a roadworthy certificate check. The car was with Le Mans Motors for 7 hours, but by the end of the day nothing had been repaired — they only provided a quote.Not only did they quote $2,188 for the repairs I originally needed, they also added additional repairs totalling $2,156 that were not identified in the roadworthy inspection. This made the total cost far higher than expected.I decided to get a second opinion, and another mechanic completed the actual required repairs for $1,400 with no issues.Based on my experience, I didn’t feel the pricing, accuracy, or turnaround time were reasonable. Others may have a better experience, but I personally wouldn’t return.

I went there to fix my polo couple months ago, it had glow plug light on and was in limp mode, at first they said that fuel sensor was bad and changed it, also did dpf regen to get the car out of limp mode, which they charged me $800+, but the car did not end up getting fixed, they said that the fuel pressure regulator needs replacing next and quoted me another $700+ and a week of wait to fix that, again the issue was still there, they offered me to get the car diagnosed again at there another service centre at gabba, I said okay, but after all of this, they quoted me another $6000-$8000 plus $800 just to diagnose the injector on top of everything saying my fuel injector could be the issue (again, they were not sure), I showed them my disappointment as I am an international student and did let them know upfront that I am tight on my budget and wanted them to fix what was the exact problem. They said the car was not worth repairing as the value of car is way less than repair cost, I took the car as it is paying $1200, where they discounted me $300, and drove it home, thought the car was doomed and I was at bad luck, but again, I took it to another mechanic and on the way there dpf sign came back again, which is not good as dpf regen was done, and the vehicle has not even been driven 20km after regen.Only reason why I went there was that they claim to be the Volkswagen specialist.(PS: Car was fixed, costed me $2500 with another mechanic and runs well now)I am very sorry to leave one star review, which I don’t put often, but the experience was very harsh on me, and Hopefully it will be better to next person if you guys improve and learn from my review

Original review:Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.Update #2:From Fine Wine to Sour Grapes 🍇Having written a glowing review in exchange for a bottle of wine before driving away, I can now confirm that was… an inspired marketing strategy — for them. For me? A cautionary tale with notes of regret and a lingering aftertaste of grease. 🍷Our beloved Audi A3 (“my wife's baby”) ran beautifully after her service — until the “bonus features” began to reveal themselves: the electric windows not operating as they were previously, the mysterious tapping (turns out a vacuum hose was left unplugged), and the distinctive touch of oily fingerprints decorating the doors, bonnet, fuel cap cover and a fashionable boot print on the front rim. A sort of mechanic’s John Hancock.But here’s where things go from mildly annoying to downright infuriating.After being told the rear brake pads were down to 1mm, I — a former motor mechanic — decided to replace them. I even had a set ready from when I did the front ones. And surprise, surprise… those “dangerously thin” pads? A healthy 6mm of life left on both sides. Considering new pads start at 10.5mm, that’s a long way from the brink.Add to that the suggestion to replace perfectly new wiper blades — fitted literally during the last bout of rain — and we’ve gone from “poor service” to something that smells an awful lot like dishonesty. (And yes, that smell lingers too.)So while I still admire the cleverness of offering wine for early reviews, next time I’ll raise my glass to honesty instead. 🍷For anyone considering trusting their European pride and joy to this workshop — maybe don’t. The only thing they seem to service efficiently is your wallet.

Terrible customer service, I did my aerobics with them recently and at 3k my car started saying that it needed oil, when I checked it it actually had a low oil level, I contacted them and a kind gentleman told me that I could take the car after 330pm on Thursday, I took my car to where always and they tell me that they don’t know who I was talking about, I tell him that I have a problem with my car and if it has any warranty, and a very rude guy tells me that he doesn’t have time to check My car if not until the next day and that he doesn’t know when, that he doesn’t think he has enough time, and he just repeated the same thing without letting me ask about the warranty until an additional person arrives and says just check the car.The annoying thing is that they didn’t take the time to give me an explanation of why the oil thing was happening, in addition to that since I started taking them my car began to have more problems than normal I always asked them the favour to check the brakes and the change was made there and they began to sound as if the brakes were old, in short terrible customer service, they never listen to the requests. I don’t recommend it.

I went to Le Mans Motors Bulimba for a RWC. They found some problems, but the prices they gave me for small fixes were way too high.When I asked about the issues the staff were not too friendly and didn’t explain things well- the woman behind the counter was alright but the man had absolutely no interest in what I asked. It didn’t feel good how they talked to me.Maybe they do a good job, but for me it felt too expensive and not nice service. Better to check other places before going here.

Summary -Fixed most things, but made me feel like it was a crime to want everything repaired/working.About 3 months ago I asked them to help repair my 2012 Mercedes C250. They fixed most things however they were initially refused to fix my headlight (not roadworthy) told me to go to a wrecker, but fixed it eventually when I kept asking.I had a fuel door break off, they said they couldn't fix it and couldn't be glued go to a panel beater. Panel beater refused. I repaired it myself with Acetate glue, nil issues.Went to fix my front left drivers light, they refused to order it and fix it. I tried to order the part it was incorrect part. Stuck with a broken light and purchased incorrect part, don't know where to repair it.I'm prepared to pay good money, but I didn't want to go to Mercedes who would charge and outrageous price and process.They made me feel like it's a crime to want everything to be fixed and work...Feel stuck, will need to find someone.

My review disappeared!I took my Jeep to to LeMans Jeep Service Brisbane for a service and general checkup. During the inspection, they informed me that the timing belt was in poor condition and needed to be replaced. Additionally, they discovered a coolant leak from the radiator, which also needed to be replaced. Lastly, they found a diesel leak from the high-pressure pump.Unfortunately, none of these claims were true. The timing belt had been replaced only 20,000 kilometers ago, there was no leak from the radiator (but from the coolant bypass), and there was no diesel leak. I was misled because they changed the diesel filter and evidently spilled diesel on the engine, which caused some dripping in the following days, but then nothing. I checked with another mechanic, and there was no diesel leak.I highly advise against this mechanic; fortunately, I did not trust their recommendations.

5/5 I totally liked your service! My car was having excessive vibration and was very noisy internally when driving. The previous mechanic said the spark plugs and coils needed to be changed as they were causing the problem. I decided to get a second opinion. I went to Lemans Milton and it turned out to be an engine mount that was causing the problem. They did the job of changing it and my car has zero problems! Wouldn’t recommend based on our experience.We came in because our car broke down and the RACQ actually took us there as it was on the list of approved mechanics, which I really don’t understand after our experience.We were given a quote that ended up being three times what of we paid elsewhere (and the other place even did some extra repairs). There was no clear explanation for the high price, which left us feeling unsure about the transparency.We ended up going to another mechanic just five minutes from the CBD, so the higher price couldn’t be justified by location either. Thankfully, the second garage was honest, fast, and much much more reasonably priced.Disappointed with the experience and wouldn’t go back. Be cautious if you’re not a local or don’t know much about cars.

Asked them to investigate a clunking noise heard when I was at full lock, mainly parking. Kept car for 2 days and eventually quoted $7000 to REPAIR steering rack, control arms, all suspension components at the front end.Taken to a different mechanic today. $170 as 4 bolts were loosened on the steering rack.Lemans took paint off my spoiler and roof, left the car in a mess. Please, stay away.

Excellent service. I rang the guys about what I thought was a turbo problem. They offered to take a look at my Amarok right away where they took it for a test drive and said they thought it was a drive train issue. They asked me to bring it in a day or so later so they could put it up on the hoist to have a proper look. They found a problem in the rear axle and suggested a few places that might be able to help me out. They didn't charge me for this diagnosis and even tried to give me a bottle of wine !

I need to give another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️the guys and the crew there at Le Mans bulimba for exceptional service,not only the good mechanic heard the cars problem which empty steering reservoir, he filled filled it up free of charge. took my amarok for diagnostic which they had a look they did a really good job im checking trans oil, front and rear diff oil and said was still good. As a second owner of only 82K kms amarok which was well looked after by first owner thought id trust my instinct and look after it like how it was. Knowing i dont have proper equipment changing trans oil front and rear diff oil. I took it to them, may God bless the mechanics and front desk crew thank you guys so much. I will see you soon for the engine service 👍🏼💯

I visited Lemans Woolloongabba for the first time last week due to a strange noise in my car. From the moment I walked in, João, the manager, made me feel really welcome and comfortable. He introduced me to Bruno, who was super attentive and patient. Bruno even took me for a test drive, explaining what was going on with the car, why the noise was happening, and how everything worked.They even put the car on the hoist to show me the part that needed replacing and how it should look. Seeing it for myself gave me a lot of confidence—they really took the time to make sure I understood everything.João and Bruno were both incredibly kind and thorough, and they explained everything clearly. The quote they gave me was very fair, and the issue was fixed much faster than I expected. When I went to pick up my car, I was honestly shocked—they had vacuumed it too!Their customer service is honestly next level. Bruno’s patience and attention to detail, combined with João’s friendly and professional approach, made the whole experience stress-free. As a woman, it’s easy to feel unsure when taking your car in for repairs, but this time was completely different. They were transparent, respectful, and I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me.I don’t usually leave Google reviews, but I felt like I had to for these guys. This was, hands down, one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. The team at Le Mans are fantastic - had an issue with my Volvo - booked with West End originally but they transferred my car to their Woolloongabba shop as it needed specialist tooling.They kept me informed throughout and without prompting them they offered me a courtesy car to use over the weekend whilst they completed the repairs.They’re reasonably priced as well, which for a euro car repairer was a really nice surprise. Love how proactive they were and how friendly their team are.Great job, Le Mans.

Went there for a service a couple of months ago. A few weeks ago my car start leaking oil. Went to another shop and the mechanic told me that they forgot to plug the washer while changing the oil engine. They charge me $350 for it. That’s a very bad experience and cost me money.

We had an issue with our Mazda BT50 and Sam diagnosed the problem and provide a short term solution to get us back on the road and advised on how it could be fix long term.There was no charge for today and as a result we will be back with our other vehicle for any future services/fixes required. [*UPDATE 21/11/24: Kieran called and cleared up the conundrum via phone call. Turns out it potentially may have been a case of a torx screw lost/missed by another mechanic I saw a month prior who changed my serpentine belt.]The call back shows the care they have for their work which is a bonus.OLD REVIEW:My experience was ‘mostly’ positive.. communication from Kieran & staff were fantastic and service overall was great but loses 2stars short of 5 after discovering a number of the cover screws at the bottom of my 2010 VW Passat CC were missing after a recent oil change I conducted which I tend to do on my own at home. I then needed to source the screws out myself through Norris VW spare parts in Virginia - a slight inconvenience.Either the boys rushed the reassembly after my appointment on 15/07/24 or they completely forgot… either way, this wasn’t what I expected from an establishment with consistent 5 star reviews. I’m slightly anxious to think about everything else they forgot to screw back, including the nuanced aspects in the internals after checking my cars timing belt/turbo that I’m yet to find out about.It’s my hope that attention to detail and excellence in even the smallest things is improved upon in the future. You guys haven’t lost a customer and I’m open to improving my review in a future visit.. so here’s hoping 🤞

These guys charged me $7000 to fix my turbo and it still has issues. Took it back but I’m skeptical it had even been fixed. I also asked to get my sliding door fixed twice which they never fixed and now it has issues with the central locking which is going to cost me more $$$. I’m a business owner and I can’t keep taking my van back so often. Calvin was the one I was dealing with but apparently he’s been let go and now there is new management.

Dropped by Volvo S60 which required a replacement thermostat assembly and a pcv valve/oil trap assembly. The Portuguese speaking technicians were highly skilled and carried out testing, convenience store stop, and final repairs within a few hours. John was friendly and customer-service focused, and had a video of the problem to show me. The breakdown was $1300 for labour and $738 for parts. Expensive, but EuroService were very professional. The car runs great now - many thanks.

My car was towed here Tuesday afternoon, i received a quote for 1k( $500 for the parts and another $500 for labor) to replace both the alternator and the belt connected to the alternator. Within an hour of driving the car home i noticed the idle was very low around 400rpm and the car was losing power at 2k rpm. The car died shortly after. After jump starting the car I tested the alternator, battery and fuses between the 2. Alternator isn’t charging the battery and one of the charge fuses was getting no power. Called lemans and explaining how I was dissatisfied with the repair since not only was there new problems that were not present before, but simultaneously the initial repair was never actually completed. Met with a very rude response, will be returning the car on Monday, not very hopeful with the outcome. If you’ve read this far be wary of overpriced and not properly explained labor costs, and be wary of people taking advantage of you for not being as knowledgeable. Couldn’t be more dissatisfied. STAY FAR AWAY

I recently had my car serviced here and while the team was professional and the work was done well, I noticed that the prices were comparable, if not higher, than what I have paid at a dealership. I was hoping for a bit more cost-effectiveness compared to dealer services. Overall, good quality work but something to keep in mind for those looking to save on costs.

I can't speak highly enough about the service from Kieran and the team at Le Mans in Newstead. They patiently, and resourcefully went through a painstaking process to repair my Jeep Wrangler; never backed down or put it in the sorry-too-hard-can't-do-it basket. Communication to and fro was top notch, frequently keeping me up to date with latest developments. They are the only mechanic garage that I'll go back too for any vehicle woes.
