Everyone at LeMans Motors was fantastic! I brought my 16-year-old Volvo XC60 making unusual noise under certain circumstances, no check engine light and not always possible to replicate, and the experts here were able to diagnose both the source of the noise but also additional, more serious oil leaks that my regular shop completely missed when they recommended I take it to a dealer. They completed the repair in a day, and the cost was much better than I was fearing--given the improvement in performance, I feel the expense was well worth it. I'll definitely return for future issues!

This experience was so much more than just great service!! Getting my car worked on is ALWAYS stressful. It may be one thing that brings me in the door, but I wonder what else will be found and almost always expect to be talked into something I'm not sure I need. But this shop is completely different. Lee was FANTASTIC! He took the time to make sure we scheduled a time that truly worked best for me, not just jamming me into some time slot. He communicated every step of the way and definitely went above and beyond patiently answering any and all questions I had putting my mind completely at ease. I felt informed enough to make the right decision on the work that needed to be performed without feeling pressured or written off. He was a strong advocate for me through the whole process and was able to help me get the most value for the work that needed to be done, which I know is no small feat and meant the world to me. It was refreshing to leave a shop feeling cared for as a customer and confident in the work, knowing there is a place with people that will treat both me and my car with respect and kindness. My clutch went out, I saw that LeMans West End was in my neighborhood and decided to give them a try. They replaced the clutch and flywheel and the clutch action feels like it did when new. Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had with a mechanic. I went in expecting the usual stress and uncertainty, but they made everything really straightforward. I've been taking my car to Lemans for a few years now, after a recommendation. They have always looked after my motor well. I have never had to return it after work has been done and I have never felt ripped off like I have in the past with other mechanics. Michael has always explained what has been done and why, and if nothing needs to be done he'll say. The only issue that I have is that it can be difficult to get through to them by phone and they don't always return calls, which I have found frustrating but I would highly recommend them due to the fact that I find them to be really good and trustworthy mechanics

Hands down the best experience we have had with a repair shop. They have earned our business for both of our German engineered cars. They are knowledgeable, fast and reliable. Wanted to come back and add to this because this place is the absolute best. Honest mechanics who will get you in and out whether you’re looking for a run of the mill tune up or something more complicated (I’ve used them for a fuel pump issue, some electrical issues, replacing a catalytic converter and every tune up since I moved to the area). Price always seems reasonable and they will tell you everything your car needs but also what needs to be done NOW, and what can wait until a later date, which is what tips them over the edge for honesty imo.

Very dissatisfied after booking 3 weeks in advance, driving 2.5 hrs in from west the day before and spending a lot on overnight accommodation, to diagnose my BMW, being told I couldn't even speak to the so called bmw specialist there, couldn't even speak to any mechanic as they didn't know who would work on it, couldn't get past reception to even talk to a workshop foreman, left in disgust. If you don't want to be treated like a fool don't bother with this business. Only giving 1 star as cant post with none.

I’m fuming. If you want to ruin your Audi, go to the west end location. I’m so disappointed- $2200 service 2 weeks ago to replace a timing belt, regular service and regas air conditioner. Not only did they not reset the computer, so now I’m getting prompted a service is overdue. They didn’t put a sticker to tell me when my next service is ready. Are you ready for the cherry on top? Today I smelt a burning smell, got the gym and realised it’s MY car burning. I’m shaking and in a panic, seeing smoke coming from my engine!!! I can only assume it’s the radiator fluid. Even if $14 radiator fluid wasn’t included in a regular service, it should’ve been picked up and raised. Half ass job all round! We have been a Le Mans customer since 2018, always great service at Newstead. It was only when we called to book it in, the telephone connection rerouted to west end. This was the first and LAST time west end will ever touch my car!!!

I've had both my cars in there recently and both were very disappointing experiences. One car needed a/c repair and headlight repair. A/c was done but headlights were .... forgotten. It was listed on the job sheet but never addressed. Second car needed an annual service. They identified some spurious and very expensive things for repair that I know didn't need doing (and confirmed by another mechanic). Also had an oil change with new oil filter. When I got the car back, the oil light came on after being driven for less than 70km, so they hadn't completed this job properly (ie. priming the new oil filter). This is the second time I have had this issue with them. First time I didn't think much of it but for it to happen twice indicates no attention to detail. They also neglected to replace a large screw that had been removed from somewhere in the car during the service - it was left in the bonnet bay, where it could have made its way into the engine and caused havoc. I will not be taking my cars back there. They do not provide an appropriate level of attention to detail.

I have a 2016 BMW X1 and needed the battery replaced. This is no easy DIY job with BMW’s, and I got quite high quotes . I booked at LeMans as they had the best price and was SOOO pleasantly surprised! I was 2 hours late for my 8am appt and Lee still prioritized getting my car in right away, as I was waiting while the work was done. The bill was actually a little less than quoted, and Lee was just SO GREAT and straight forward to work with. A HUGE breath of fresh air in today's “no accountability” culture. And even though I live on the other side of Brisbane, I will be making the trip to Milton to get repairs done at LeMans in the future due to my GREAT experience. I HIGHLY recommend LeMans.

My son's 2004 Honda CR-V was on its last legs. He took it to several mechanics but nobody could tell him what was wrong or probably thought it wasn't worth it. I told him to give it one last try and to take it here. Sure enough, they found the issue, and fixed it at a reasonable price. I’m more than happy with the service.The missing star is due to having booked my regular maintenance through the phone but when I showed up, the booking was not there. Usually there is an automated confirmation message before the booking day in the afternoon, but I forgot to check for this instance and there was no message. Just a slight inconvenience.

They performed a really good service of my 2011 Suzuki Swift and produced a comprehensive report which was really helpful. They did the classic upsell of wanting to replace the air filters, break fluid, wipers etc however, their customer service was great and happily broke down the cost of each change which was comparable to market rate. On top of that, their communication was excellent and they got everything done within the day. Even when i noticed some break squeaking after the service, they sorted me out free of charge. Overall great experience, I will definitely be getting my car serviced here again.

Do not take your car to this mechanics!! I have never left a review for anywhere, but am so disappointed in this business that i wanted to share. I has my audi Q3 towed there after it broke down. It was there for 2 weeks and given back to me $2600 later. After 2 days of receiving the car back it started smoking and I coukd smell diesel. I looked under bonnet and noticed that firstly they never put the motor cover back on. Secondly, the injector they had just replaced was now spurting out a lot of diesel. I rang them and they said they would send me the number for their tow truck driver. I never received it until the next day when I had to call back asking for it. While the car was back there for the second time, everytime I tried to call nobody was answering. After getting very frustrated by this, I called off of my work phone and then the receptionist Samantha answered straight away. She was screening my calls and not answering on purpose when I was trying to get updates on what was going on. When I finally picked the car up I asked if they had located the motor cover only to be told it was never on there. Trust me, it was. I had my car towed from the side of the road straight to the mechanics and I never took off the cover. Then when I was driving away from the mechanics, smoke started pouring out of the bonnet again. I pulled over to have a look and there were pools of diesel all still all over the motor everywhere. They had failed to even clean it after it was their part that was faulty and had caused the diesel to spurt out in the first place. Then the next day when my partner was cleaning off the diesel for me, he dropped his phone in the motor as he was using the torch and it ruined his phone entirely. If only they had of done their job right this first time, this wouldn't have happened. I wouldn't recommend this mechanics to my worst enemy! And I strongly recommend you shop around and do not take your car here for any reason. It truly was the worse experience I've ever encountered with a mechanic in my entire life! I definitely wont be taking my new car here and will be telling everyone I know not to take their car here.In reply to your comment. Exactly, the cover is huge. So do you think i took it off on the side of the road and left it there? No. And you were screening my calls. If you weren't, why when I called x3 times off my mobile you didn't answer, then I called off the work phone and you answered straight away! In regards to you only changing one injector, when I got the car towed there, you weren't aware that I was trading it in. You only became aware of that when I kept calling to find out how long it was going to take to fix your mistake, I said to you I needed it done asap as I was trading it in as soon as you'd finished the work. I never said nothing about doing the cheapest option at the time. You truly talk so much rubbish. I put $7000 into your business and my audi in 8 months time. You wont be getting anymore money from me ever again. And since reading your reply and how much crap you talk, im now going to make it my mission to tell every single person I know not to take their cars to your workshop. I just hope that this review stops someone else from having to go through what I did with you. I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! THEY ARE THE WORST BUSINESS EVER!

My Jeep Wrangler came in with a failed transmission and CV shaft. Stu sourced parts and had it installed in a reasonable time. When the refurbished CV caused shuddering, they took it in the next day, replaced the part and realigned the tyres which fixed the problem entirely. They did not charge me for labour on the second fix. Overall, they're a trustworthy team and didn't cut corners.

I've been servicing my RCZ at Le Mans Newstead for a few years now. Recently the car went in for the 100k service and Le Mans fixed an oil leak during the service. That actually cost a considerably amount due to the difficulty of the job. After picking up the car I found that I now had a severe oil leak. The car was far worse than when I dropped it in. I wasn't happy. I attempted to contact them but kept getting their stupid AI robot with which I left several messages. No response. I decided to book a service since I couldn't contact them any other way to discuss the issue. I was very frustrated.That's where things changed. They absolutely took ownership of the problem and apologised for the AI robot issues. They prioritised the repair - which turned out to be a faulty part from Peugeot - and kept me informed all the way. There was no charge and when I picked up the car they had gone the extra mile to wash it, fix the headlight frosting etc. They did what any decent company should do and I have no issue taking my car to them in future. They were trying hard to ensure I was happy. Good on them.(I suggest they ditch the AI robot. Even if the calls had been returned this is not a good experience for customers).Thanks Guys.As Arnie would say - "I'll be back"David.

We recently had sudden engine overheat in our VW as we were leaving Brisbane headed for home. We eventually had it towed to LeMans Newstead after doing some research.David at the front desk, and our mechanic Sam, were super helpful upon arrival. As we had to leave town, they suggested they would investigate. Communication was good with calls and texts as we progressed. They were very keen not to just throw parts at it.Not all problems can have a definitive answer, but I had been doing some research as well, and together we agreed on a way forward. They always sought my approval before taking the next step. The parts replaced are difficult to get to and a lot of things had to be removed to get there. As a result it wasn't an easy or cheap fix.Sam took great care doing the job and once he found out our decision was the correct one, he sent some pics and called to tell us the news.I picked up our car this morning and drove the 3 hours home. I was very confident that the work was carried out by a professional who took great care of my VW.Thank you Sam and David!

We’re a 5 vehicle family and had been going to Le Mans for 10 years prior to Chad leaving. The last 2 services on a few of our vehicles were not only more expensive than previous but also left the vehicles with serious issues. We finally found Chad again at his new location after searching far and wide. Absolute legends. My car sprung a massive coolant leak on a weekday night, and I had it towed to LeMans and called in the next morning. Despite being booked solid for two weeks, the team squeezed me in that day, assessed the car, and even stayed back late to smash out the work and finish it same day.Can't speak highly enough of the entire team - communication is always on point, and they're so transparent and clear. Having Le Mans - West End look after my 2015 A1 Audi is terrific. Easy booking on line or by phone, excellant communication by Emily throughout process, orderly workshop and clear what they are doing, pricing explained before they do the work and detailed invoices supplied. I'm not knowledgeble with cars so appreciate time spent to explain what is required and what isn't, what should be budgeted for next time. Less expensive than Audi servicing and close to home and transport to and from as well! When recently had a very damaged tyre, fitted me in and fixed without issues. Damage to a sensor also done in same manner.

Fantastic first experience. VW had electrical problems over the holiday period, everyone was closed. We booked in online and dropped the car off overnight with their key drop off.They found the problem that day, and were very communicative. They kept the car overnight to ensure they could test it 2 more times before we were to pick it up, to ensure the problem was resolved. We will be taking our VW here for our services in future as better experience than the dealership and fairly priced. Thank you.

Great service. I took my car in today due to an electrical fault. They did a diagnostic test on the car and stated that it would be cheaper for me to go back to the dealership and that they couldn't grantee that what they think the problem is will be fixed by their solution. They went on to not charge me for their time as they were not able to fix the problem. Would recommend the guys at newstead.

Unfortunately the last few times I have used this mechanic I have had significant issues with pricing. For example, they kept recommending I change the timing belt despite the fact they had already changed it but didn’t check their own records. This happened three times in a row. Then there were issues with quotes not matching the invoice without explanation. I raised these issues with management and it was clear there were issues with accountability and a very casual approach to pricing.

I was really impressed with the level of service I received yesterday at the West End garage. They were recommended to me anyway, but at this time of year and also how visibly busy they were, it felt like we got top priority regardless. A really helpful manager on the front desk, said to just bring in our car and we will get it done. Very professional and courteous staff on the tools, made us feel we weren't in the way (which we were really) and just seamlessly got to it.I don't write reviews unless it is exceptional service or value. This garage delivers both. Rare qualities these days.

Very happy with the standard of service provided, and chose Le Mans Motors from a colleague's recommendation. My 2019 Hyundai i30 N Line was sounding rough on start up and was working harder to move up gears.The Le Mans team advised an engine flush and to switch from the standard 20W50 oil to a premium Penrite 10W40 blend within Hyundai's guidelines. They also took the time to explain the technical reasonings for this in plain terms.The engine now starts smoother, sounds quieter at idle, and shoots through gears no worries.

Initially, I attempted to book my vehicle in with the West End branch due to its strong reviews for honesty, communication, and reasonable pricing. However, I was unfortunately referred to the Woolloongabba branch as they specialise in my vehicle’s make. It took two full days for my vehicle to be inspected before any work commenced. A full service was carried out in addition to the requested repair without my consultation, despite the vehicle having been serviced only six weeks earlier.I made several attempts to obtain updates over the week on the progress of the repair due to needing my vehicle for work purposes, however I did not receive a return call. When I did manage to get through to the branch directly, a complimentary vehicle was not available or explored by the rep even after explaining my situation.The cost of the service and repair was very expensive given the nature of the repair and after consulting with other mechanics on the work carried out. I was without my vehicle for just over a full week and had to follow up several times after the repair to obtain a detailed, itemised invoice and information regarding future maintenance recommendations. Several phone calls and text messages were left with the rep with no response. Very poor communication and overall experience with this branch.

If I could put ZERO STARS I would.Extremely disappointing experience – would not recommend. Don’t know how they sleep at night.My family and I have had multiple terrible experiences with this business.They worked on my mum’s car several times because it was overheating. Each time they assured her the issue was fixed, and each time the problem came back. She was charged thousands of dollars across multiple visits — nearly $10,000 in total — on a car worth about $12k. We were told the car was fine and nothing else could go wrong, only to later be told that a hose they fitted failed and caused another leak. Now they’re saying there are no parts available in Australia and they can’t repair it at all.Separately, I had my own car serviced here and was charged roughly $1,400 for “brake work.” Nothing seemed to have been done at all — the brakes felt exactly the same as before the service.Based on our experience, the workmanship, communication, and value for money have been extremely poor. I have lodged concerns with the ACCC and will be taking this further.I strongly recommend avoiding this company

Be extremely careful with Le Mans Newstead. I booked a $347 oil change and filter replacement. NOTHING MORE. I got a phone call where the staff member ran through issues as if he was giving notes and mentioned the number $657. As $347 to $6,570 jump is extremely unreasonable.When I came to pick up the car, they tried to charge me $6,570 for repairs I never approved. The staff member even admitted the miscommunication was his fault and that he didn’t explain the pricing.Instead of fixing the situation professionally, the general manager called me later and was rude, demanding money for work I never authorised.This was a really disappointing and stressful experience. Always get everything in writing if you deal with them.

I booked a general service and roadworthy certificate in person, left my details, and scheduled a drop-off a few days later.However, when I arrived, the same staff who assisted me previously had no record of the booking. I had to provide all my information again, felt disorganised and frustrating.They also forgot to complete the safety certificate when I was picking up the car. I waited until the end of the day, I was then told I’d have to come back the next day.On top of that, I was charged more than the original quote for the service and billed that I don’t recall approving. They claimed it was discussed over the phone, but I strongly recommend sticking to written communication to avoid them overcharging or proceeding without proper consent.To make matters worse, when I picked up the car, I found muddy footprints on the carpet and on the inside of the door. The staff who forgot my booking had opened the door with his foot. This shows a real lack of care.I paid the full amount and walked away, but this place overcharges for the quality of service provided. I won’t be returning.

I booked my car in for repairs that were identified during a roadworthy certificate check. The car was with Le Mans Motors for 7 hours, but by the end of the day nothing had been repaired — they only provided a quote.Not only did they quote $2,188 for the repairs I originally needed, they also added additional repairs totalling $2,156 that were not identified in the roadworthy inspection. This made the total cost far higher than expected.I decided to get a second opinion, and another mechanic completed the actual required repairs for $1,400 with no issues.Based on my experience, I didn’t feel the pricing, accuracy, or turnaround time were reasonable. Others may have a better experience, but I personally wouldn’t return.

I went there to fix my polo couple months ago, it had glow plug light on and was in limp mode, at first they said that fuel sensor was bad and changed it, also did dpf regen to get the car out of limp mode, which they charged me $800+, but the car did not end up getting fixed, they said that the fuel pressure regulator needs replacing next and quoted me another $700+ and a week of wait to fix that, again the issue was still there, they offered me to get the car diagnosed again at there another service centre at gabba, I said okay, but after all of this, they quoted me another $6000-$8000 plus $800 just to diagnose the injector on top of everything saying my fuel injector could be the issue (again, they were not sure), I showed them my disappointment as I am an international student and did let them know upfront that I am tight on my budget and wanted them to fix what was the exact problem. They said the car was not worth repairing as the value of car is way less than repair cost, I took the car as it is paying $1200, where they discounted me $300, and drove it home, thought the car was doomed and I was at bad luck, but again, I took it to another mechanic and on the way there dpf sign came back again, which is not good as dpf regen was done, and the vehicle has not even been driven 20km after regen.Only reason why I went there was that they claim to be the Volkswagen specialist.(PS: Car was fixed, costed me $2500 with another mechanic and runs well now)I am very sorry to leave one star review, which I don’t put often, but the experience was very harsh on me, and Hopefully it will be better to next person if you guys improve and learn from my review

My Amarok went into limp mode whilst in Brisbane yesterday due to DPF issues and LeMans Motors were able to force a regen and get me back on the road so i could get back home. Lemans, as always, did an amazing job again today looking after one of our cars that it has been servicing for many years. Unfortunately they could not do the AC degas for my particular vehicle and they recommended a place to go to, not only to safe money but time so we could get our AC sorted. Lee and Rod are awesome. Definitely miss Michael and Stu but Lee and Rod run the place like a champ.

Terrible customer service, I did my aerobics with them recently and at 3k my car started saying that it needed oil, when I checked it it actually had a low oil level, I contacted them and a kind gentleman told me that I could take the car after 330pm on Thursday, I took my car to where always and they tell me that they don’t know who I was talking about, I tell him that I have a problem with my car and if it has any warranty, and a very rude guy tells me that he doesn’t have time to check My car if not until the next day and that he doesn’t know when, that he doesn’t think he has enough time, and he just repeated the same thing without letting me ask about the warranty until an additional person arrives and says just check the car.The annoying thing is that they didn’t take the time to give me an explanation of why the oil thing was happening, in addition to that since I started taking them my car began to have more problems than normal I always asked them the favour to check the brakes and the change was made there and they began to sound as if the brakes were old, in short terrible customer service, they never listen to the requests. I don’t recommend it.

Summary -Fixed most things, but made me feel like it was a crime to want everything repaired/working.About 3 months ago I asked them to help repair my 2012 Mercedes C250. They fixed most things however they were initially refused to fix my headlight (not roadworthy) told me to go to a wrecker, but fixed it eventually when I kept asking.I had a fuel door break off, they said they couldn't fix it and couldn't be glued go to a panel beater. Panel beater refused. I repaired it myself with Acetate glue, nil issues.Went to fix my front left drivers light, they refused to order it and fix it. I tried to order the part it was incorrect part. Stuck with a broken light and purchased incorrect part, don't know where to repair it.I'm prepared to pay good money, but I didn't want to go to Mercedes who would charge and outrageous price and process.They made me feel like it's a crime to want everything to be fixed and work...Feel stuck, will need to find someone.

My review disappeared!I took my Jeep to to LeMans Jeep Service Brisbane for a service and general checkup. During the inspection, they informed me that the timing belt was in poor condition and needed to be replaced. Additionally, they discovered a coolant leak from the radiator, which also needed to be replaced. Lastly, they found a diesel leak from the high-pressure pump.Unfortunately, none of these claims were true. The timing belt had been replaced only 20,000 kilometers ago, there was no leak from the radiator (but from the coolant bypass), and there was no diesel leak. I was misled because they changed the diesel filter and evidently spilled diesel on the engine, which caused some dripping in the following days, but then nothing. I checked with another mechanic, and there was no diesel leak.I highly advise against this mechanic; fortunately, I did not trust their recommendations.
